  Great kid-friendly place. Charming, hospitable, tame & had a great multi-level deck. Portions are a bit small though. Will come back!

  Needs work. Understaffed, servers were visibly and audibly frazzled. Kitchen is really slow. We waited over 45 minutes. It was busy but not /that/ busy. Saw several tables leave while we waited. Some before being seated, and even a few after being seated. We were five minutes from bailing, ourselves. One couple even decided just to wrap their food up and leave once it got to the table they had been there for so long. Food ended up being ok. I had chicken strips and okra. Okra was really good. The strips had an interesting sweet taste on the back end. Not sure how I felt about it, but they did the trick. My girlfriend ordered macaroni and cheese, the portion size was laughable. Probably won't be back. Had Grateful Head not been closed for renovations, we wouldn't have stopped to begin with.
